The Chair of Ceramic Materials was represented at the Ceramic Matrix Composites III (ECI) conference in Hokuto, Japan. Advanced ceramic fibers and their processing as well as environmental barrier coatings (EBCs) were the main topics of the conference. In addition, discussions on current issues and directions for future research and cooperation were the focus of the conference.
