Conference in China

The Chair of Ceramic Materials, represented by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Schafföner and Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Motz, participated in the Chinese Ceramic Society's 14th International Conference on High-Performance Ceramics (CICC14) in Haikou, China.
The conference focused on all types of high-performance ceramics, such as structural ceramics, fiber-reinforced ceramics, functional ceramics, and polymer-derived ceramics. A large number of presentations, discussions, and meetings provided an overview of the activities and research priorities in the field of ceramics, particularly in China. Opportunities for joint research activities were also discussed.
