In September 2026, the Chair of Ceramic Materials Engineering participated in the 9th European Symposium of Photopolymer Science (ESPS) in Vienna, Austria. The international conference brought together researchers from academia and industry to discuss current developments in photopolymerization, UV-induced curing, photoinitiators, and advanced polymeric materials. The Chair contributed an oral presentation by Mohamad Zahedtalaban on the UV-triggered thiol–ene click curing of polysilazane coatings at room temperature, focusing on the influence of the curing mechanism on the resulting chemical network and coating properties. The conference provided a valuable platform for international scientific exchange and offered insights into current research trends and challenges in the rapidly developing field of photopolymerization.
